Meet the Director
Rychelle Carmody
Founder & Director, Carmody Group & Co.
Rychelle Carmody is an education strategist, learning designer and social work professional with more than a decade of experience across education, workforce development and human services.
Her career has spanned child protection, family violence, mental health, alcohol and other drugs, vocational education and large scale learning design. That combination of practice experience and education expertise shapes the way Carmody Group works today.
Rychelle founded Carmody Group with a focus on creating high quality instructional design. Over time, the work evolved.
Today, she leads a team of highly skilled education professionals who partner with organisations to solve complex education and workforce capability challenges.
Together, the Carmody Group team works much earlier in the process, helping organisations determine what education needs to exist, how it should be structured, what workforce capability it needs to build and how learning can support broader organisational goals.
Their work spans education strategy and frameworks, workforce capability, instructional and digital learning design, compliance, implementation and continuous improvement.
Rychelle has worked with government, universities, TAFEs, RTOs, not for profits and national organisations across Australia, translating complex subject matter into practical education strategies and learning experiences that create meaningful change.
She is particularly passionate about education that contributes to better outcomes in child safety, prevention of gender based violence and human services.
At the centre of Rychelle’s work is a simple belief: Education should do more than transfer information. It should build capability, influence practice and create impact.
